Grand Haven is located in Western Michigan. Boats, Planes, Trains and cars will all get you there! Walk if you dare. DRIVE: Grand Haven is a 3 hour drive from Chicago TRAIN: There is an Amtrak direct from Union Station in Chicago to Holland Michigan (a town about 20 minutes south of Grand Haven). There are cabs and transit from Holland to Grand Haven. BOATS: There is an express Ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegan (20 minutes north of Grand Haven). Transit is available from Muskegan to Grand Haven. PLANES: The nearest airport is the Gerald R Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids. This is about 40 minutes from Grand Haven.

We love your kids (no really, we truly do). However, the venue will be on a steep deck against the lake, and given some of the inherent danger in that setting, we kindly request no kids be present for their safety and your sanity.

Transportation will be provided to and from our suggested hotels, to the ceremony and reception. To get around Grand Haven, there is a trolly that carries visitors between Spring Lake and downtown Grand Haven called the "Buccaneer Loop." The Harbor Transit offers a dial-a-ride shuttle service. There are some Ubers, but they are limited.
